Amid their reported split, Joe and Teresa Giudice are each taking some time to send some love to their daughter Gia. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom and her estranged husband both took to Instagram to praise their eldest child for being, as Joe put it, “a lot braver than I am.”
Joe, who recently revealed that he’s starting a new construction job in Italy, posted a photo of Gia holding a snake around her neck. “A Python wrapped around Gia looks brave and bold which that she is!” he wrote in the caption.
“I don’t know where my daughter gets it from but she is a lot braver than I am!” he went on, also adding, “Maybe her mom likes snakes. I know I don’t.”
And he’s not the only one who thinks Gia likely gets her fearlessness from her mom. Teresa herself commented on the photo, writing, “That’s my girl not afraid anything like her Mama.”
She later posted the same photo of Gia on her Instagram feed, writing, “A woman with no fear is unstoppable, she must get it from her momma.”
This isn’t the first time that Joe has posted photos dedicated to his family on social media. Earlier this month, he shared a moving message to his loved ones on Instagram, writing, “We will always stay strong.” At the beginning of the year, he also posted a tribute to his daughters, promising them “the best of me in 2020.”
Reports of Teresa and Joe’s separation following 20 years of marriage began circulating in December. After being released to Italy in October following his release from ICE custody, Joe remains abroad, waiting for a final decision in his ongoing deportation case.
