Teresa Giudice Offers an Update on Joe Giudice's Deportation Case
The RHONJ mom confirms what's next in her husband's ongoing legal issues.
Joe Giudice's legal issues have been documented on the current season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Those ups and downs featured in Season 10 include the moment when his appeal was denied back in the spring, but that was several months ago and since then Joe was released from custody in October to his native Italy where he is currently awaiting a final decision in his ongoing deportation case. So now, Teresa Giudice is offering more info about where Joe's legal issues stand.
"Of course, [our daughters] were upset [about the appeal]. Who wouldn't be upset? But again, we're still fighting," Teresa said in the premiere episode of the RHONJ Season 10 After Show, above. "The fight's still not over. We're still going to the third circuit, but I told the girls it's going to be like a year and a half before we hear anything."
Giudice family attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., previously made it clear that even though Joe is in Italy “we are still fighting and it is his desire to return home to the United States to be reunited with his family.”
Teresa and their four daughters visited Joe in Italy back in November. In the After Show, above, Teresa offered up how her daughters are currently doing as they wait on a decision in Joe's legal matters.
She confirmed during her November 20 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that her children will be seeing their father again over Christmas. However, Teresa said she will not be joining them on that trip because of her own work commitments. Instead, she said she plans on seeing Joe again in the summer when her kids are off from school.
