John Legend Offers an Update on Kanye West: "We Want Him to Be Well"
The singer shared how the rapper and his wife, Kim Kardashian, are doing since his hospitalization on #WWHL.
In the week since Kanye West was released from the UCLA Medical Center after being treated for exhaustion, he and his wife, Kim Kardashian, have remained out of the spotlight. Additionally, updates on his condition have mostly come from unnamed sources, but now one of his pals, John Legend, is offering some insight into his current state.
"Oh, we’re just rooting for Kanye to feel better and get better and you know, we’re all fans of him and we’re friends of him and we want him to be well and to be able to do what he loves to do," he said Wednesday on Watch What Happens Live. He also shared how Kanye's reality star wife is handling it.
"She’s good. It’s tough," he said. "It’s tough to deal with all of this and so we’re rooting for them to get better."
These are the latest comments that John has made about his longtime friend. He previously spoke about the rapper in an interview with CBS This Morning last month. "We [Chrissy Teigen and I] were with Kim actually right before all of that," John said at the time. "I was concerned by what I saw, so hopefully he's getting some rest and some time to figure things out.
