Josh Flagg Gets the Shock of a Lifetime Viewing the $9.2 Million House He Bought Sight-Unseen
MDLLA's Josh Flagg has some work cut out for him when it comes to making his childhood dream home livable.
Josh Flagg recently bought his childhood dream house without touring it, and now, that decision is proving to be rather disastrous.
In the the above preview for Season 15, Episode 3 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles (set to air Wednesday, July 24), we see Josh and Tracy Tutor walking around the five-bedroom home, which is in a state one might call dilapidated.
"Let's see the upstairs. I'm sure the upstairs is better," says Josh as Tracy looks around with her mouth agog. "It's really f-cked up that from the outside it looks like a jewel," says Tracy. "How much did you pay for this again?"
A cool $9,295,000 is the answer to that question.

As for why Flagg decided to make the purchase, he explains in a confessional, "I've loved this house since I was a child. And by the way, I'm not alone. It's one of those beautiful houses that everyone walks by and is like 'It's so perfect.'"
At least, that's what he used to think. "I've waited my whole life to see the inside of this house — suddenly the plot has changed," he adds. "At least there's nice crown molding?"
Walking through the rooms, we see plenty of disrepair. "You're essentially starting from scratch here," Tracy notes. "Are you ready for this?"
It's a no from Josh ... as Tracy almost trips on an exposed beam.
Next, they head to the backyard, which is set on a 14,000 square foot lot. Unfortunately, the lovely space is full of various lawn ornaments and trash. "What's under those blue tarps?" asks Tracy.
"I don't even want to know," Josh answers.
Josh Flagg's Renovation Timeline
Sometimes, it's better to overestimate. "This is not going to be a nine-month project," Josh says in a confessional. "This is going to be, well, a three-to-four year project."
Good thing we could watch MDLLA forever, right? Tune in Wednesdays at 9/8c (episodes stream the next day on Peacock) to see what Josh does with the place.
