Jules Wainstein Says The Real Housewives of New York City Weren't the Most Welcoming

When Jules Wainstein sat down with Life After Bravo, she reflected on all the highs and lows of her one season on The Real Housewives of New York City. And in the process, she spilled all the piping hot tea about her time on the series, revealing Season 8 secrets about what it was like for her to candidly live her life in front of the world for one brief season.

How to Watch

And, in some ways, it was baptism by fire. "I almost threw up," she revealed in the clip above about her first day of filming. "I was really nervous. I remember," she said, recalling that her first time in front of the RHONY cameras was alongside pal Dorinda Medley for a stroll through Central Park.

In the clip above, she also dished about her ex-husband, Michael Wainstein's response to her becoming a Real Housewife, as well as how the other women reacted to her joining the crew.

And while Jules wasn't on the show for long, she was there for some very memorable moments, including when Bethenny Frankel and John Mahdessian argued in front of everyone at the bra party, Luann de Lesseps and Tom D'Agostino just as it all went sideways (living out "It's About Tom," IRL), and, of course, what it was like to experience the always-bonkers Berkshires firsthand, in the clip below.

"Watching the show back is a different experience than living it," Jules shared in the exclusive Life After Bravo interview.

And below, she reflects her most memorable moment. Yes, that would be the one where she made that, um, artisan calzone.
