Jules Wainstein Opens Up About Her Public Divorce

Jules Wainstein only documented her life on The Real Housewives of New York City for one season. Since she stepped away from the cameras after Season 8, Jules has been going through her divorce from Michael Wainstein, which she first announced back in June 2016. It also means that she's had to make some major life changes in the years since.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Peacock and catch up on the Bravo app

"Until my divorce is over, I'm temporarily living in Boca [in Florida] at my parents, which actually happened to be a nice thing because unfortunately my father just recently passed away," she revealed in an exclusive interview with Life After Bravo first shared with Bravo Insider members (clip above). "So we got to spend the last year with him, which we wouldn't have spent as much time if we were living in New York. So we'll be there until things settle, and then hopefully we'll move back soon."

Given the recent ups and downs, she's also found ways to "relieve the stress" including teaching herself and her kids, Rio and Jagger, how to play guitar. In the video above, she opens up more about her life these days and how even in adversity "you can find the happiness anywhere."

Jules is also addressing Bethenny Frankel's claim on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in 2016 that she knew their split was coming before that season even hit the airwaves. "No, that is not true. I had no idea. It was during the show that I realized that I was all alone. I think when everything came out that we were getting divorced it was horrible because I have two young children," she said. "As much as my life is on television, there are things that are private — and also, I was devastated."
