Kameron Westcott may be known for her glamorous sense of style and her undying love for all things pink, but it turns out her keen sense of aesthetics can be traced all the way back to her college days. The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member recently revealed that she majored in photography while attending her alma mater, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Kameron confirmed her surprising choice of major on Twitter, following the January 12 episode of RHOD Season 5. When a follower questioned whether she really didn’t know the meaning of the word “cathartic,” as showcased in the episode, the mom of two couldn’t help but crack a joke in response.

“My major was photography…you do the math,” she wrote back.

Her artistic major isn’t the only thing that Kameron is reflecting on lately. The RHOD mom also recently opened up about how her relationship with Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond has changed for the better this season.  

“I actually think that they were more open to get to know me,” she said during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “I think it got to a point where we were like, ‘Are we going to be friends or are we not?’ And I think they just put themselves on a ledge, and they got to know me, and I did the same back, and we actually are really good friends.”
