After Kara shared the tragic news in a post on Instagram on April 14, messages of support have poured in, including from some familiar faces, in the comments to the announcement.

Vicki Gunvalson sent love to Kara, her husband, Kyle Bosworth, and their 4-year-old daughter Decker. "Bless you, Kyle, Decker and your family," she wrote. "I am so sorry honey."

Tamra Judge also sent her condolences to the family. "I’m so sorry, my heart hurts for you and your family. Prayers," she shared.

Emily Simpson expressed how sorry she was for Kara's loss and sent her and her family "lots of love and prayers."

Gretchen Rossi opened up about how devastated she felt for Kara and her family. "I can’t stop crying since hearing the news this morning. Our hearts just break for you guys. We will remain in constant and deliberate prayer for you and your whole family during this unimaginable loss," she wrote. "What a beautiful way to honor him by helping another soul. We love you guys."

Jo De La Rosa also shared that Kara and her family will be in her thoughts and prayers. "Kara I’m so incredibly sorry to hear this. I’m praying for you and your family," she wrote. "May God and His angels watch over him until you’re reunited again."

Ryan Culberson, who recently announced that he is expecting his third child with Vicki's daughter Briana, said that he was "speechless" after hearing this heartbreaking news.

Kara's newborn son passed away shortly after his birth on April 6 after experiencing shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord, she shared on Instagram. "He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts," Kara wrote.

On April 6th, our son McCoy Casey Bosworth was born at 3:10am. Weighing in at 11 pounds and 4 ounces and spanning 21 inches, McCoy surprised us all with his size and strength (and overall perfection). During the course of his birth, he experienced shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord. He joined our Heavenly Father and will live forever in the hearts of his loving parents, his adoring sister, and those that received his life-saving gifts. I wrote this for the organ/tissue procurement team to read out in his honor: “Tonight, we join together to honor this little savior’s gifts of life. Through him, may others find new hope and profound healing... and may he live again through them. May his legacy shine in the form of lifetimes aplenty - lives filled with laughter, compassion, energy, love, and most of all gratitude. May it be said that McCoy Casey Bosworth left this world in a better place, for a better place.... that he made an impact... that he was an answered prayer... that he was a hero. May angels lead him in. Thank you, McCoy.” ——————————————— And Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” John 16:20 Until we see you again... We love you, McCoy.

She also said that they had decided to donate McCoy's organs and shared a note she had written for the organ/tissue procurement team to read out in her son's honor. "Tonight, we join together to honor this little savior’s gifts of life. Through him, may others find new hope and profound healing... and may he live again through them. May his legacy shine in the form of lifetimes aplenty - lives filled with laughter, compassion, energy, love, and most of all gratitude," the message read. "May it be said that McCoy Casey Bosworth left this world in a better place, for a better place.... that he made an impact... that he was an answered prayer... that he was a hero. May angels lead him in. Thank you, McCoy.”

After sharing a bible verse, Kara ended her note, "Until we see you again... We love you, McCoy."
