Though we only caught a glimpse of it in Season 1, Karen Huger's kitchen was possibly the most controversial part of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Fans created a Twitter storm around the Grand Dame's not-so-grand appliances and cabinetry — so much so, even Andy Cohen had to address it at the reunion. Quoting a fan he said, "Karen, if your husband is the Black Bill Gates, why do the appliances and features in your kitchen not reflect your socio-economic status?" Well, everyone, Karen doesn't have time for any of this haterade. Let's remember:
During the tour of her home above, Karen enters her now infamous kitchen, saying, "A lot of you had a lot of opinions about it, but this is where I raised my family." She continues explaining that for 13 years she cooked every morning in that kitchen, and even as an empty nester she still adores this gathering place in her home. But of course, she throws a little shade in there. This is Potomac, after all. In case you were wondering if any updates will be happening, think again. Karen says with a smile "And again, I refuse to renovate but thank you for your suggestions." Oh, we caught that tea, Karen. Trust.
Take a closer look at the kitchen below and be sure to tune into The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 premiere Sunday April 2nd at 9/8c.
