Kathryn C. Dennis' Surprise Birthday Party Was So Turnt Up Even Patricia Altschul Showed Up
"Best Birthday that I have ever had," the Southern Charm mom shared about turning 27.
Kathryn C. Dennis experienced a pretty big first over the weekend when she rang in her 27th birthday. You see, the Southern Charm mom's pals gathered together and threw the fashionista her first-ever surprise bash, as she shared on Twitter: "Best Birthday that I have ever had..and also the only surprise party anyone has ever held for me! Thank y’all for making my day so special!"
In fact, the occasion was so special that even Kathryn's one-time nemesis and current pal, Patricia Altschul, showed up to celebrate her, with the Charleston grande dame writing a pretty big prediction about the mom of two: "A surprise Birthday party was held for [Kathryn]...I predict that this coming year will be her best one yet."
And, the fact that Patricia showed up certainly left Shep Rose excited for what's next for the pair, who made amends as Season 5 of Southern Charm wrapped up: "I’m still completely incredulous and joyful that [Patricia] and Kathryn are friends now. They should teach a class or give a talk to the United Nations or something."
Obviously our invite got lost in the mail, but luckily Kathryn posted moments from the get-together to her Instagram Stories. And the party certainly looked like a ton of fun.
It included a red carpet, poster-sized photos of the birthday girl, swimming in the pool, loud music and a The Little Mermaid cake to top it all off, and the treat was clearly a nod to Kathryn's cascading red hair.

Kathryn also celebrated herself and her journey with an adorable throwback photo, writing, "27 years! I cannot even believe it. Look at that innocence! So pure. My kids remind me of that every day. Happy birthday to all the Leo’s out there!"
