Kathy Griffin: Miley Needs to Wear Less Clothing

The comedian also weighs in on the Gaga-Perez Hilton feud.

Everybody has something to say about Miley Cyrus these days but, we admit, we've been waiting for our favorite ex-D-lister Kathy Griffin's take on the situation.

"I’m actually an evil aunt telling her to wear even less clothing," Kathy tells Star Observer. "I love my Miley in some rubber panties, although it seems like a recipe for an infection. I hope she has antibiotics. But I enjoy her nudity on both a stripper pole and a wrecking ball."

The outspoken redhead also gets uncharacteristically serious for a moment when discussing the recent feud between gossip blogger Perez Hilton and Lady Gaga. (In short, the blogger dissed her music; the singer fired back that he was stalking her.) "I don’t understand it," she says. "The thing about Lady Gaga-–and I don’t even know her-–is she’s such a fierce advocate of the LGBT community.

"I don’t like [Perez] pitting women against each other; that’s the oldest trick in the book," she continues. "I mean, look, I might tease Miley–-or Molly [as Kathy's mom Maggie calls her]–-but ultimately I’m always going to praise women who are successful and stand for something in this industry."

There's no word on how many of Miley's record-breaking 182 million YouTube views of "Wrecking Ball" come from Kathy, but we're guessing the comedian is incorporating some choice words about the infamous twerker in her latest stand-up act, currently touring Australia.
