Kathy Hilton Explains to Nicky and Paris Why She Loves to Host Instagram Lives SO MUCH

As fans have learned since Kathy Hilton joined Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she is always open and sometimes a little wacky. So perhaps Instagram Live is the perfect art form for Kathy to express herself. She's done a number of them throughout this season where she is sometimes joined by her sister, RHOBH cast member Kyle Richards. Sometimes those chats take place on the way to an event, or sometimes they're just home and hanging out with one another. But they are always amusing.

Then, on Thursday (July 22), Kathy decided to enlist her daughters, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, to join her as co-hosts for her latest Internet chat sesh. During the rambling live event, Kathy's daughters wanted to know why she enjoys speaking live with her followers so much. Nicky is very much "intrigued" by her mom's passion for Instagram Lives since neither herself nor Paris do them.

Well, Kathy explained all, adding that she would do it 24/7 if she could. "I love it," she told her daughters. "I love saying hi... It's just fun to connect to everybody. It's fun. I love it."

Like previous Instagram Lives, Kyle even popped by in this latest one, and she and Kathy shared some cute and candid sister moments.

In a recent interview with Bravo Insider, Kyle revealed more about her must-see family dynamic. "Yes [Kathy has always been funny]. And always funny, you know. My mom was also really funny, but [Kim Richards is] funny; I’m funny [laughs]. People used to say, 'How come they don’t show how funny you are on the show?' And I’m like, 'Because I’m just trying to stay alive. Are you kidding me? Like we’re, we’re like bickering and fighting and crying. There’s like nothing funny about what’s happening right now.' But, I’ve always known we come from a family of people that have a good sense of humor and the kookiness and that part," Kyle said. "I [didn't] realize as much until I saw it through someone else’s eyes with my sister Kim on the show [laughs]. I think back to when she fell off the chair in her interview, and I’m just like, I literally, every time I see that, I die laughing. And, you know, now I’m like, 'Oh, I guess they are kind of kooky.' I just thought maybe I was the weird one in my family [laughs]."

When speaking to The Daily Dish this season, Kathy noted that she was definitely excited to show people a different side of herself. "It was a wonderful experience," she said about filming Season 11, adding, "I went on a few different times [previously], but it was always in a very serious way. I think the fans always thought I was a bitch or something, you know? I just thought this is an opportunity to spend some time with Kyle."
