Rick Levanthal Finally "Properly Met" Kelly Dodd's Daughter Jolie IRL
The RHOC mom and daughter met up with the Fox News correspondent in NYC.
Up until now, Kelly Dodd's daughter, Jolie, and her fiancé, Rick Leventhal had only met via FaceTime, but that all changed over Thanksgiving weekend. The Real Housewives of Orange County bride-to-be and the two most important people in her life got in some bonding time in NYC, where the Fox News correspondent lives. And, you can bet that while in the Big Apple, they participated in some very traditional NYC holiday festivities.
"Thanks [Rick] for taking us on a Carriage ride through Central Park and taking us ice skating so much fun!" Kelly wrote on Instagram. Rick also snuck into Kelly's comments to relay that he, too, had a lovely night with his future family, sharing that it was a "beautiful night."
And Rick didn't miss the chance to shower his future bride with compliments when it came to her skills on the ice. He wrote, "This girl’s got mad skills!
Just prior to the QT in NYC, Kelly had confirmed that her teen daughter and future husband had yet to come face to face IRL. “She hasn’t met Rick yet but she sees him on FaceTime,” The Real Housewives of Orange County mom told Page Six during BravoCon 2019 weekend in NYC. “So she’s met him, but she hasn’t properly met him.”
Rick and Kelly became engaged in November and right after they announced the engagement, she confirmed that Jolie's dad, Michael Dodd, was still coming to terms with the news as of mid-November. "Michael and I are kind of fighting right now," she said at BravoCon. "Unfortunately. We're not in the best shape right now."
For the record, Kelly has also confirmed that she has no plans to move to NYC.
