Whoa! Kelly Ripa Just Called Herself Mark Consuelos' Mistress: Here's Why

When it comes to casting roles on Riverdale, that team has to look no further than Mark Consuelos' incredible inner circle. As we all know, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host and Ripa-Consuelos BFF Andy Cohen, as well as Mark's doppelgänger son Michael Consuelos have both popped up on the soapy drama. And now his wife, Kelly Ripa, is slated to make her debut on the show in one very sexy role. She's set to play Mark's character Hiram Lodge’s mistress(!!!!). She shared the news on Instagram via a sexy photo and one cheeky caption: "It’s a family affair........Hiram’s mistress. 23 years of auditioning for a role I was born to play. Coming soon to [Riverdale]."

According to Entertainment Weekly, the LIVE! with Kelly and Ryan host will play the “confident and tough" Mrs. Mulwray (she certainly looks spicy enough for the part). And much like everything in the town of Riverdale, nothing about the situation she finds herself in is what it seems.
