Cynthia Bailey started off Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta without longtime friend Kenya Moore. However, the two have been in contact, and of course the supermodel has already met Kenya's new bundle of joy, Brooklyn Doris Daly, who was born on November 4.
"Baby Daly has arrived, honey. She has twirled on in to the building," Cynthia told The Daily Dish podcast. "Noelle [Robinson] and I went to visit Kenya and Brooklyn, I don't know, maybe about three or four weeks ago? She's a little preemie; she came, like, five and a half weeks early, I think. She's so beautiful; she was so tiny and cute and when we saw her, she wasn't really opening her eyes that much."
Having known Kenya for a while, Cynthia also says it's interesting to see her now as a mother. "Kenya is a great mom which I knew she would be. She thinks she knows everything and wants to boss everybody around, so now she has her own baby; stop trying to boss me around!" she joked. "It's going to be interesting because I think Kenya thinks she's going to run a really tight ship as a mom but Brooklyn is not going to be having any of it. Brooklyn is just as spoiled as Noelle is in the end and she's going to give Brooklyn whatever she wants."
Cynthia's also seen up close how Kenya's husband, Marc Daly, is as a dad. "Oh my god, Marc is so overprotective. If anything, the problem is with those two together, Kenya's like, 'I've gotta change the baby; she just peed.' And Marc's like, 'No, you don't have to grab her every time she does something. That's what the Pampers are for. Let her sleep. You don't have to wake her up to change her.' They go back and forth with the parenting thing, because Kenya thinks she knows everything about parenting and Marc thinks he knows everything about parenting, so it's funny to watch them work out who knows how to take care of Brooklyn best."
And Cynthia, whose daughter, Noelle, is 19 , jokes that she is the expert here: "I can probably do a better job than both of them but they won't give me their baby for some reason! Noelle and I want Brooklyn; we want to have Brooklyn. We love her."
