Kenya Moore Shares a Heartfelt Message About Having a Baby at 47: "Miracles Do Happen"
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum had a complicated pregnancy, but she couldn't be happier as a new mom.
While scrolling through our Instagram feeds this morning, we stumbled across the best possible way to start our day: A new photo of Kenya Moore's baby! To review, we're pretty obsessed with seeing snaps of the 3-month-old Brooklyn Doris Daly. Not only is she this cute, but her mama always writes the sweetest captions. (We may even tear up from time to time while scrolling through Kenya's Instagram — don't judge.) Of course, this latest snap is just as sweet as ever.
In the February 10 Instagram post, Kenya shared a photo of herself looking totally enraptured with her little one as she pulled a white sock onto her teeny foot. (Aw!) In the caption, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum opened up about being a mom.
"You make me feel brand new," Kenya wrote. The new mom, who just turned 48 and had her daughter at the age of 47, continued: "Forget about age, what people say or even what the clock says... If this is what you want, God will give it to you." One of her hashtags spelled out: "miracles do happen."
Kenya went through a complicated, and sometimes downright scary, labor and delivery. But it seems that the experience just made her more grateful to a be a mom to her adorable daughter. We're loving seeing Kenya as a doting mama!
