Kenya Moore Already Walked Away from RHOA Once for Marc Daly: Would She Do It Again?
The RHOA mom reflects on her split from Brooklyn's dad.
Kenya Moore made her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta during an emotional Season 12 premiere. It marks her return full-time to the series after she confirmed her decision to exit before Season 11 (though, as fans will recall, she did make a memorable cameo in last season).
A lot has certainly happened in that time. She became a mom to Brooklyn Daly (who turned 1 this month) and announced her separation from husband Marc Daly after two years of marriage. When she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday (November 3), she addressed if she'd consider stepping away from RHOA again if it meant it could repair her relationship with Marc.
Above, she breaks it all down for a WWHL caller, sharing, "I already made that choice and it didn't work our for me. I chose my marriage and my relationship over my career. I feel like I wanted my family. I wanted to have a healthy pregnancy, and, ultimately, I chose my family."
When Kenya announced she was stepped away from RHOA following Season 10, she did hint at a similar sentiment in a statement to The Daily Dish at the time. “I have decided to take this season off to focus on my high risk pregnancy in a healthy and drama free environment," she said. "I thank Bravo for this amazing platform that has allowed me to grow, flourish and appreciate the value of what is truly important in life."
In the WWHL Clubhouse, Kenya opened up more about her split from Marc and if there's any chance they could ever reconcile, noting that they "haven't filed [for divorce] yet."
