Kim Zolciak-Biermann Explains Why Kroy Wasn’t at Porsha Williams’ Wedding
The Don’t Be Tardy mom offered the update after attending Porsha and Simon’s wedding with a friend.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia said “I do” for a second time on November 26, and while Kim Zolciak-Biermann was among the nearly 350 guests in attendance, her husband, Kroy Biermann, was not.
Now, the Don’t Be Tardy mom is explaining why. Kim took to Instagram on November 29 to share several photos of herself and Miko Grimes at the lavish affair, writing in part, “She was my date because daddy has to babysit.”
Tacking on a crying-laughing emoji, Kim’s caption continued, “Porsha and Simon’s wedding was by the far the most beautiful wedding I have ever attended. Absolutely BREATHTAKING from the ceremony to the reception[,] no detail left undone.”
Alongside the photos of her and Miko were several solo shots, all of which gave a closer look at her skintight black dress.
Porsha and Simon’s second wedding came just one day after they were married in a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony. There, they celebrated their nuptials alongside 250 guests — most of whom were unplugged for the duration of the wedding, which wasn’t the case at the subsequent one.
“It’s important for me because I’ve had another big event in my life before, and all I remember seeing was flashing lights and pictures being taken every single minute,” Porsha told People ahead of the big day. “Just really want people to be in the moment. This guest list, everyone there was handpicked by the both of us. These are people that we care about, people that we love, people who have supported us. We really want them to feel the energy and for us to celebrate our love together.”
And celebrate they did. Kim was far from the only Bravolebrity in attendance, as RHOA’s Kandi Burruss, Drew Sidora and Cynthia Bailey; Married to Medicine’s Quad Webb; The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant and Candiace Dillard Bassett; The Real Housewives of Miami’s Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton, and more were also present.
