Kristen Doute: James "Did His Homework" Before Dating Me

There's been no shortage of drama following the breakup between Kristen Doute and James Kennedy this season on Vanderpump Rules. Following the SURvers' split, Kristen hasn't been shy to share her opinion of the DJ — even going as far as to note that she thinks he used her to get more screen time. She elaborated a bit more on that theory when she stopped by to chat with The Daily Dish.

"James did his homework. He knew exactly what to do to get me," Kristen said of the British bad boy. "He knew when to swoop in, when I wasn't really friends with anyone yet. [He also knew] basically don't act like Tom [Sandoval] and don't be an ass, and then I'm going to like him. And he also knows that I fix little, broken souls. He just did his homework and he knew exactly what he was doing. And he played me right until the point that he got through one whole season, became a primary and then dropped me."

Since their split, James' love life has remained a hot topic at SUR. After he and Kristen broke up, James had somewhat of a fling with Lala before he stepped out on her with Lauren.
