Kristen Doute Reveals Her Current Relationship Status with Brian Carter

Kristen Doute's relationship with Brian Carter hit a bit of a rough patch this season of Vanderpump Rules, with the T-shirt designer experiencing some raw and emotional moments while opening up to her friends about the issues she's been facing with her boyfriend as of late.

Cut to Kristen's appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in February, where she revealed she and Carter were still "figuring it all out" when speaking about how things were going between them after filming on this season of Vanderpump Rules ended. That update made even Andy Cohen admit it didn't "sound promising."

So several weeks later at the Vanderpump Rules Season 7 reunion, Andy didn't waste any time in asking Kristen about the current status of her relationship. "We will talk about this a little more later, but are you single right now?" Andy asked Kristen, to which she paused and then confirmed, "I am."

Kristen's response prompted most of the jaws in the room to drop, including that of Katie Maloney-Schwartz and even Lisa Vanderpump. Jax Taylor, Tom Schwartz, and Stassi Schroeder could all be heard saying this was the first they were hearing about Kristen and Carter's relationship officially coming to an end.

Kristen previously reflected on the "heavy" moments she shared with Carter this season of Vanderpump Rules (one of which you can relive in the above clip) on Twitter, asking fans to show some empathy as they opened up about their relationship. "Carter is a really wonderful man and people go through things," she tweeted. "Please just be kind because man, we’re all human."

Carter also showed on Instagram in February that Kristen will always have a special place in his heart. "@kristendoute I love you and every part, especially the crazy," he gushed.
