Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Just Got “That Much Closer” to Their Wedding

Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are counting down the days until their wedding. After postponing their nuptials several times due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Summer House couple is celebrating getting “that much closer” to their special day.

On August 5, Kyle took to Instagram to mark his 39^th birthday, which comes just a couple weeks after Amanda also celebrated turning 30. In the sweet photo, the duo can be seen posing in front of several festive banners while Amanda holds up a sign that reads “Birthday Babe.”

“Our birthdays are close and so is our sleeping arrangement. Here’s a pic from Amanda’s bday, posted on mine (today, duh),” Kyle wrote in the caption of the photo, going on to add, “ 39 feels good bc we’re that much closer to our wedding.”

Kyle expressed a similar sentiment while commemorating Amanda’s birthday last month. “My baby turns 3️0!! “Happy birthday to my better half - crazy to think you had just turned 24 when we met almost 6 years ago,” he wrote at the time. “Welcome to the best decade of our lives! I love you and can’t wait to marry you this September.”

Amanda previously opened up about their decision to delay their wedding date from June to September. 

“Our venue was indoors. There was no outdoor option,” she explained on The Daily Dish podcast in April. “Our minimum is 225. We couldn’t guarantee that we could have 225 people inside a venue on June 18. So we were like, let’s do it in my parents’ backyard in September.”
