Kyle Cooke Reveals New Information on Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard's Split: "I Saw the Cracks"

It's been a little over a month since Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke called off their engagement, and while the former couple has yet to speak at length about their split, a few of their Summer House cast mates are starting to open up about what they know.

The latest? Kyle Cooke, who appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Oct. 24 following the Season 3 premiere of Winter House.

Kyle Cooke's Reaction to Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke Calling Off Their Engagement

Prefacing his thoughts on the matter by noting that the breakup is "a very tough topic," Kyle explained he was "rooting" for Lindsay and Carl even though he "saw the cracks in the foundation." 

As a result, "I was not surprised based on what I was privy to," he added of the split.

What was surprising, however, was Lindsay and Carl's decision to end the engagement altogether. As Kyle put it, "Calling off a wedding is probably harder than proposing. So, I did not think that it might actually happen because it's drastic ... I had a front-row seat, but despite that, I was still surprised."

The Reason for Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke's Split

Kyle spoke further about Lindsay and Carl's breakup in a recent interview with E! News. Speculating on what led to the end of their relationship, he said, "It's no secret that they've been in constant couple's therapy ever since they basically started dating. From my perspective, there were times where I was like, 'Man, it's almost like the only time they could communicate on any given week was in therapy.'"

"It's almost like they couldn't even communicate anymore without a third party," Kyle added. "And Carl was like, 'That is not how I'm gonna spend the next 50 years of my life.'"

Kyle has long been friends with both Lindsay and Carl, so it should come as no surprise that he's not exactly taking sides in their split. Instead, he noted that he's been in touch with both of his Summer House castmates. (Kyle even hung out with them, albeit separately, at the Winter House Season 3 premiere party on Oct. 24.)

"I want to emphasize they're both hurting," Kyle said. "This is a very unfortunate situation. I think Carl has tried very, very hard to be as respectful as possible."

Does he think Carl has any regrets about the breakup, though? Andy Cohen asked this exact question on WWHL, to which Kyle responded, "Zero."
