Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have broken up and called off their engagement. Lindsay confirmed the news on Sept. 14 in a post she shared to Instagram.

The couple, who met and first became friends while filming the debut season of Summer House, got engaged in August 2022. Carl popped the question on the beach in the Hamptons while the cameras were rolling on Season 7 of the Bravo series, and the pair celebrated with their loved ones and fellow cast members afterwards.

Prior to their breakup, the two were set to tie the knot in Mexico in November 2023. Find out more about their relationship and subsequent split below.

Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard's Breakup

Lindsay opened up about the split in a statement she released to Instagram weeks after reports first surfaced about the breakup.

"I would like to start by saying thank you for allowing me the space and time to process my emotions, heal, and grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for 8 years.

The last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life. My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all - with no answers or closure on why. I feel humiliated by how it went down, and simultaneously heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed, and coming to terms with that has been difficult for me.

This was not my decision, and I do not agree with quitting a relationship (at this level) without trying everything possible first. I have spent the last couple of weeks finding my own closure and peace. I am forever grateful to my best friends who have not left my side, and have been picking up the pieces of my heart and life every day from the fallout.

I am still grieving and trying to process all that has happened, but I felt it was important to update you all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the love and support from my friends, family, cast mates, and all of you for carrying me through."

Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke: A Relationship Timeline

Though Carl and Lindsay first got to know one another when Season 1 filmed back in 2015, sparks didn't begin to fly for the pair until Season 4. After exploring the idea of dating on the fourth season, Lindsay and Carl decided to just stay friends.

The twosome ultimately became best friends while living in separate apartments in the same building. Viewers saw how close the two became — with fellow Tres Amigos member Danielle Olivera — on Seasons 5 and 6.

Things changed for the duo once again after filming wrapped on Summer House Season 6. After acknowledging their growing feelings for one another at Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's wedding in September 2021, Carl and Lindsay once again took their friendship to the next level the following month.

Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke at the Summer House Reunion

They moved in together to a $13,000 a month apartment in Midtown Manhattan at the beginning of the summer in 2022. By the end of the summer, despite a few cast members (including Danielle) expressing concerns over how fast the two were moving in their relationship, Carl proposed. Once Carl got down on one knee, Lindsay accepted by saying "a thousand times yes" to marrying the Pittsburg native.

The pair soon began planning their wedding. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in March 2023, Carl confirmed that he and Lindsay "had locked in with a venue," and that they would be exchanging vows in Mexico.

Carl also shared that he wanted to have a "conversation" with Below Deck's Captain Lee Rosbach about having him potentially officiate the ceremony.

In the following months, the now-exes celebrated their impending nuptials with a series of trips together, and both a birthday celebration and a bridal shower for Lindsay.

You can stream Season 1-7 of Summer House on Peacock now.
