How Sophia Umansky Is Dealing with Her Parents' Separation

Speaking to E! News on January 24, Sophia explained that it's "definitely rough when there's so much going on at home."

"I mean, this is already a lot to process in itself, and to have the whole world talking about it — that's what it feels like — is a lot," she continued. "But I have to say, I am grateful for everything that my mom being in the spotlight has brought into our lives, so it's really hard to say. But right now, it's rough."

Kyle Richards on Sharing the Details of Her and Mauricio's Separation with the Public

Sophia isn't the only one grappling with the public nature of the separation. Specifically referring to her time on RHOBH, Kyle said, "I've shown so much over these 13 years of my life. [On RHOBH Season 13], the first scene we shot all together, I said, 'My husband and I are having a hard time.' And that was very hard for me to share on camera because I was processing that myself."

In spite of all this, Kyle continues to be on the receiving end of accusations from her RHOBH castmates that she's not being open about her marital issues. On that note, she pointed out that toward the beginning of filming for Season 13, she and Mauricio "had not even shared" with their daughters that they were having issues. "So, I was like, 'You don't get everything before our children,'" Kyle added.

Do Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky plan to get a divorce?

In the same interview, Kyle shared an update on the status of her and Mauricio's separation.

"Right now, we are just taking it a day at a time," she said. "We still live in the same house and we get along. Our girls never grew up with fighting in the house, [and] it's still like that — you know, we just don't argue. So, it's just trying to work through things and take it slowly."
