It's no secret that Kyle Richards constantly has shoes, gowns, fantastic feather jackets and the latest trends on the brain. Kyle's been working hard this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at her boutique, Kyle by Alene Too, and now she's adding clothing designer to her fashion-forward resume!

On February 25, Kyle will be launching her first clothing line, Kyle by Kyle Richards, on HSN. The eight-piece collection, which includes pieces that evoke "relaxed glamour," fall in line with the chic, California cool vibe we've come to expect from Kyle's personal closet, and some of her friends—and RHOBH cast members—are already asking for the goods. Kyle caught up with Entertainment Weekly to dish on the new challenge.

Choosing a favorite piece between her new creations is tough, but so far, Kyle's a big fan of a one-sleeved jumpsuit she designed for the line. "The fabric literally feels like pajamas," she says. "I always wear it at home when I’m entertaining because I don’t want to be in a tight, uncomfortable dress. I can also wear it on a red carpet. In fact, I just wore it in blue on The Arsenio Hall Show. I also love the jacket with embellished sleeves. I get so many compliments on it. I have friends already asking me for that one."

Kyle also reveals that much of her design inspiration came from her youth. "I’ve always loved clothing," she says. "I come from a family of all women, so playing dress-up was a big part of our household. I’m very much like my mom. I’m realizing that, as I’m getting older, at times I’m glamorous, but I like being comfortable. By day, I’m running around being casual. My mom was just like that too. A lot of this is inspired by her."

Though Kyle had dreams of extending her sartorial skills by designing a line of handbags, that's on hold for now. "I was doing one and then I stopped," she says. "It was overwhelming at first—getting used to having this crazy schedule with the show and all my kids and my husband too. I’m like, 'It’s my kids, then my husband, unfortunately. [I'm] a mom, you’re going to have to understand that.' It was overwhelming, [but] the next step probably would be handbags or sunglasses. This [could] just be the beginning."

We hope so! What do you think about Kyle's budding fashion career? Let us know in the comments.
