Lala Could Have "Toned It Down" During Wine Night Confrontation with Raquel
The Vanderpump Rules star opens up about her tumultuous relationship with James Kennedy's girlfriend.
Lala Kent is offering up another mea culpa for her behavior toward Raquel Leviss this season on Vanderpump Rules, especially for when she came for James Kennedy's girlfriend during a wine night at Katie Maloney-Schwartz's home.
When Lala appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 7, she admitted that her aggressive comments toward Raquel may have been a little too much.
"Watching the episodes back, of course, I was like, all right, I know Raquel is this sweet girl and she doesn't have a mean bone in her body ... at the time I was just coming off of her talking about my dad being an excuse and then I felt she was minimizing sobriety, so I was just so triggered. [Those are] two very important things in my life I felt like she was treating like they were minuscule," she said. "Yes I regret the way I treated her. We've moved above and beyond to make things good in our little friendship that we have now. I could have toned it down a lot."
In a recent phone interview with The Daily Dish, Raquel offered up her take on watching back all the drama, including her highs and lows with Lala.
"Filming, in general, I get anxious about. And then like watching myself back, it’s like the whole time my heart’s pounding until after the episodes. And then James and I can talk about it," she said, noting that she's not "the most dramatic person on the show... so, I’ve kind of got to roll with the punches, especially with everything with as far as Lala goes."
