Lala Details “Intense” Off-Camera Call With Katie About Being Ariana's "Bobblehead"
According to Lala Kent, Katie Maloney had a lot to say about Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval's living situation as well as Ariana's role in their sandwich shop.
Vanderpump Rules Season 11 was a rocky one for Lala Kent and Katie Maloney, but the drama between the once-close besties is far from over.
That much was made clear during Part 1 of the Season 11 reunion on May 14, as well as the subsequent episode of the Vanderpump Rules After Show. The latter saw Lala shed new light onto what went so wrong in her friendship with Katie in the first place.
Lala Claims Katie Agreed with Her Complaints About Ariana
As Lala explained on the VPR After Show, "I think we were at odds because from my point of view, she was not very honest this season and I don't recognize that Katie. The reason why she and I really freaking connect is because we are no bullsh-t. You may not like what comes out of our mouths, it may be harsh or aggressive, but it is what it is."
So when Lala felt that Katie was no longer embracing this sort of approach — specifically when it came to Ariana Madix — Lala confronted Katie during a phone call that a Vanderpump Rules producer was also on.

Lala's Conversation with Katie About Ariana That Didn't Make it on Vanderpump Rules Season 11
Lala described the phone call as "very intense."
"We went over conversations that Katie and I have had about certain things, and I told Katie, 'These are the things that you have said, and I don't know why you're shying away from this conversation,'" Lala recalled on the Vanderpump Rules After Show.
Later, she detailed a few of the topics she felt Katie was "shying away" from.
"[Katie] had said many times that Ariana needed to be out of the house, that there was no reason that she should be in that house still," Lala said, referencing the fact that Ariana opted to continue living with Tom Sandoval long after they broke up. "And then when cameras picked up, it was like the complete opposite. Everything Ariana was saying made perfect sense to Katie. And I'm like, take Ariana out of it, insert Scheana [Shay], same situation, you'd be having a f-cking heyday."
Lala also accused Katie of being "annoyed" that she was "the only one doing sh-t" for her and Ariana's sandwich shop, Something About Her. More specifically, she recalled Katie complaining that Ariana was "always late on her half of the rent."
"I'm like, we've had discussions, you and I, Katie, about the group of bobbleheads that Ariana and Tom surround themselves with — they both do — and now you've turned into one," Lala added. "How do I talk to you? How do I f-cking talk to you?"
Ultimately, though, Lala concluded, "I think she was very worried about rocking the boat when she's invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into this restaurant and her business partner is Ariana. I can't say I wouldn't feel the same way. I probably would."
Still, "she had opinions," Lala added. "The thing is, you can have opinions and still have Ariana's back."
Katie's Response to Lala's Claims About Ariana
Katie didn't have much to say about her drama with Lala on the Vanderpump Rules After Show, but she did deny that she wasn't voicing her true opinions throughout Season 11.
"I don't fake the funk here," Katie said. "Like, I can't do that sh-t. If I'm not genuinely upset with somebody at that time, in the moment, I'm not going to get myself upset with them. It's not gonna happen."
