Lala Kent Shares the Sweetest Update on Her Daughter, Ocean: “I Adore Her”
The Vanderpump Rules mama revealed her toddler will soon enter her “three-teen” era.
It’s no secret that Lala Kent has quite the busy lifestyle between running her growing business empire and raising her 2-year-old daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett. Luckily, the Vanderpump Rules cast member has a strong family behind her to lend a helping hand in taking care of her baby girl.
Just ahead of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere, viewers received a sneak peek of Lala’s life on the series’ special, “A Decade of Rumors and Lies,” which reflected on the last 10 years of the cast's lives and gave a glimpse at what to expect in the upcoming season.
During the episode, Lala provided an update on her current living situation. "My mama lives with me now. She picked up her entire life from Utah, moved it to L.A., and she helps me raise Ocean," Lala said in a confessional. "My brother Easton felt a little bit left behind and he actually moved into the same complex."
And with Lala’s family literally being arm-lengths away, she has the perfect support system to assist her as Ocean nears the end of terrible twos and enters her “three-teen” journey.

When speaking to BravoTV.com recently at the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere party, Lala opened up about what her mini-me has been up to lately. “Right now, she is approaching 3-years-old, and I heard from other moms it’s called three-teen,” the mama bear said about her growing daughter. “[Ocean] is able to go toes with me like nobody else and it’s a lot.”
Lala jokingly continued, “I adore her… I hope [she] always keeps this energy, but direct it elsewhere, like I’m tired.”
That wasn’t the only thing that Lala spilled on. She also shared how rewarding it is to share her parenting journey with her fans, saying, “You know, I just want to be open and honest about motherhood.”
What’s next for Lala Kent?
Lala is gearing up to make her return onscreen for the premiere of the Vanderpump Rules Season 11. Per her official cast bio, Lala will be welcoming a new chapter in her life.
“Lala Kent is still in the midst of a challenging custody battle, but being the best mom to Ocean remains her priority,” read her bio. “Wanting to give her daughter a sibling, Lala explores fertility treatments and looks for a sperm donor as a single mother. She finds an unlikely connection with Tom Schwartz, forming a friendship that neither saw coming, but creating tension between her and the rest of the girls as her forgiveness for the Toms grows.”
