Katie Maloney Did Something with Ocean for the First Time That Makes Lala’s “Heart So Full”

Auntie duty looks good on Katie Maloney. Sharing an adorable photo of her date with Lala Kent’s daughter, Ocean, on Instagram, the Vanderpump Rules cast member admitted she wasn’t the one who planned the outing.

“Ocean finally invited me to go shopping with her,” Katie captioned the November 9 post, joking, “She took me [to] all the cool hip stores.” In the sweet snap, Katie can be seen holding the inquisitive 20-month-old’s hand (along with a shopping bag) in the most heartwarming way.

Lala certainly loved the moment. In the comments section, the Vanderpump Rules mom gushed, “This makes my heart so full.”

That’s the opposite of how she felt during a “very scary” emergency room experience she recently had with Ocean. On the November 9 episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, she recalled “freaking out” and that she was “in hysterics” a week earlier when she realized her daughter was struggling to breathe. After they rushed to a Los Angeles ER, doctors diagnosed Ocean with croup, according to the former SUR hostess.

Luckily, the tot rebounded quickly, and before long Lala was sharing an Instagram video of Ocean practicing her animal sounds on November 7. “We were sick all weekend, but got this content… [and] I can’t even,” she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Katie isn’t the only Vanderpump Rules cast member Ocean has spent time with recently. On October 23, Scheana Shay shared photos of a fun playdate Lala’s girl had with her and Brock Davies’ daughter, Summer Moon. They didn’t just go to your run-of-the-mill playground, though — the adorable duo took on Universal Studios Hollywood.

“I feel like the stage mom in the back… ‘Now girls, look at each other and laugh,’” Scheana joked, calling the group outing “such a fun day!”

It seems it’s pretty much impossible for anyone not to have fun when Ocean is around.
