ICYMI, the NBA Hall of Famer had once told reporters that he wasn’t on board with his son dating Larsa. According to TMZ, when asked if he approved of the relationship, he replied with a simple “No” and shook his head.

Of course, the RHOM ladies confronted Larsa about the ordeal, as seen in Season 6, Episode 16, but she quickly shut them down. However, Larsa set the record straight on the situation alongside Marcus while filming their podcast, Separation Anxiety with Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan.

While in the act, Marcus and Larsa immediately explained that they were already aware of Michael’s “emphatic” remark, as his dad wanted to ensure they “didn’t take anything the wrong way.”

Although the duo knew about the news beforehand, they were still “nervous” about it, especially Larsa, who admitted she was “embarrassed” by the whole thing. As for Marcus, he found it “hilarious.”

When it was time for Marcus to reveal if Michael was fine with his relationship, he confirmed he was.

“Since we’ve been a couple, you know, my dad has definitely been vocal and adamant about making sure that I’m happy, but my dad hasn’t met any other women that I dated,” he said, adding, “I feel like my dad is going to be OK with whoever it is I end up with. My mom is the one that I want to make sure likes the person that I’m dating, and she f-cking loves Larsa.”

Later in the preview clip, Larsa told Marcus she “never want[s] to be the problem” between him and his parents.
