Last Chance Kitchen is back for Season 17 and it's going to get fiery. With 15 all-star chefs competing in Top Chef this season, LCK is going to be more intense than ever. The eliminated cheftestants will have to give their all for one final shot at redemption, but can they take the heat?
Well, Tom Colicchio will be the judge of that!
With so many talented chefs putting their skills to the test, LCK 17 is going to be a wild ride. The first episode of the season proved that the competition is cutthroat and the contestants' dishes must be superb — or their chances of returning to Top Chef will get burned to a crisp.
The premiere episode of LCK featured Joe Sasto and Angelo Sosa competing in the ultimate "Italian showdown." Their challenge was to create a seafood dish using ingredients — including geoduck clams and caviar — chosen by Chef Michael Cimarusti, a former Top Chef Masters contestant, James Beard Award winner, and owner of Providence. In the end, only one chef's dish came out on top and it's safe to say this season started off strong.
