Leah McSweeney Opens up About Her Life with Her Lookalike Daughter and Where Things Stand with Her Ex Rob

Leah McSweeney hasn't just documented her entry into the Big Apple inner circle on the current season (her first) of The Real Housewives of New York City, but she's also let viewers into her life as a mom to her tween daughter, Kier, and with her ex who is also Kier's dad, Rob.

The tween is the only child for both Leah and Rob, which, as she explained to The Daily Dish in a phone interview earlier this season, does mean she is treated like royalty.

"It’s all about her. She’s the queen," Leah explained, before breaking down her parenting style. "We’re pretty equal. We’re equal, but I probably let her get away with more. I think I probably baby her a little more 'cause I'm her mom."

However Leah did reclaim the larger bedroom in their apartment after she shared during Season 12 that it was her daughter's dwelling. "But you know what? We switched that a while ago actually. I have the bigger bedroom now," Leah laughed.

RHONY may be taking fans deeper into Leah's life these days, but the show isn't her first appearance on Bravo. A decade ago she popped up on an episode of The Millionaire Matchmaker looking for love. Around the time it aired, she and Rob had reunited, but they eventually broke up again. So a decade after that matchmaking session with Patti Stanger, is Leah looking to settle down?

"I never say never," she said. "My life has surprised me in ways I never thought possible. So even though I don't really, I can’t really envision myself married, I pretty much don't want the government involved in my relationship in any sort of way, but could I see myself in like a long-term, very long-term relationship, or having more kids? You know, I can’t really see that for myself. But who knows? But I also am a firm believer in manifesting stuff, you know? So, if I'm not envisioning myself like that, then it might not happen. But I'm open. It’s not like I'm against it. It’s just that I don't see it."

That being said, more kids for Leah really doesn't seem like a possibility, as she said: "I feel like I can’t see myself having another kid. But maybe that will change if I'm in love with someone. But I'm 37. I have an-almost 13 year old. I'm good. [laughs] Why would I want a baby?" she said. "It’d probably be very hard for her... now she’s getting older. So if she was like 17 and I had a baby, it’d be a whole different situation. You know, she’d be like helping me [laughs]."

By the way, she does not see a reconciliation with Rob anytime soon. "No, absolutely not [would I get back together with him]. We have great chemistry as friends and co-parents and exes. If me and him were dating or trying to have a relationship together or live together, we would hate each other and be ruining our daughter's life," she said on a recent WWHL episode. "Trust me."
