LeeAnne Locken's Plano Comments Got the Best Reaction from the City

The #RHOD 'Wife learned not to mess with Texas.

It's a Little Plano in Here

If there's one thing we've learned from watching The Real Housewives of Dallas so far it's that LeeAnne Locken takes charity very seriously. So when her fellow 'Wives Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman seemed to be goofing off a little too much during a charity event in the series premiere, LeeAnne was not having it. "It's a little Plano in here," LeeAnne said after seeing their behavior at the event (clip above).

Well, once the official Twitter account of the City of Plano got wind of this, thanks to a tweet from blogger Cynthia Smoot, it clapped back in the best way possible.

Yes, that is a tweet from Taylor Swift's music video for "Shake It Off," implying that the City of Plano is going to do just that.

It's a good thing Plano wasn't offended by LeeAnne's comment because she said she never meant it as an insult to the city. "It was NEVER about the City of Plano, Texas Government but I LOVE what they did with it!! LOVE me some PLANO! I worked there for YEARS and miss my friends up there!!" she wrote in response to the city's tweet on Facebook Wednesday.

LeeAnne also previously explained the jab on Twitter. "The 'children' were being PLAIN in their tacky behavior and they were from Plano sooooo, I felt like it was a little PLAIN O!" she wrote.

Brandi and Stephanie, the RHOD 'Wives that joke was directed toward, saw things differently. "LeeAnne is entitled to an opinion of me, however, to reference Plano is a low blow and clearly disrespectful. Plano is ranked the third hardest working city in America by Money Magazine, in the top 100 in the USA for families to settle, and West Plano (where I reside) is voted number 1 in the DFW area to raise a family," Brandi wrote in her first Bravotv.com blog. "So what does Locken know about Plano other than that I live there? Girl, bye! For anyone that doesn’t know, Plano is amazing and I love it."

Stephanie also gave her take on the matter. "LeeAnne saying, 'It’s a little Plano in here,' is her way of putting down the amazing town where Brandi lives. It’s obvious to me that LeeAnne doesn't feel like Plano measures up to Dallas, and she feels like Brandi and I are beneath her," Stephanie wrote in her Bravotv.com blog last week. "Plano is a great place to live. It is one of the top places in Texas to raise a family. It also has some of the best schools in Texas."

But as far as LeeAnne and the actual City of Plano goes, it doesn't look like there are any hard feelings. The City of Plano's Director of Marketing and Community Engagement Shannah Hayley has even designed T-shirts on behalf of the City with the quote, which the Oh So Cynthia blog said LeeAnne is a fan of. She's even reportedly receiving one of these T-shirts from Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere himself Wednesday. "We love LeeAnne - as you probably know, she's worked as a contractor for us for a number of years," Shannah, who sent the tweet on behalf of the City, told Oh So Cynthia. "She's never been afraid to share her opinion and has a very quick wit."

Don't we know it?
