Eileen Davidson Says Lisa Rinna Is Seriously Trying Not to Talk About Kim Richards
"I think she's really trying to move on," the #RHOBH soap star said.
You might have thought that once the chatter surrounding Kim Richards and her sobriety started up again this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that Eileen Davidson might have gotten involved in it again since she and the alum haven't always been on the best of terms. Need we remind you of that crazy "beast" moment in Amsterdam? (Trust us, you'll want to revisit it.)
But Eileen has shown that she has no interest in going back to that place with Kim. "I felt like whatever happened two years ago, I had a reason for saying what I said, which really wasn't that much of a big deal," Eileen told The Daily Dish. "That's not happening. I'm not seeing any problems. She seems happy and healthy, and I celebrate that. I'm happy for her. I'm ready to move on from that. I don't want to drag this woman down. She's been through Hell. She's doing great, I want to applaud that. So to be talking about it, I'm just like, ew. It just makes me feel icky. I don't like it. It's not two years ago. This is a different time, and I don't know why we're going back to that bad time. She's not there."
That's more than we can say for Eileen's bestie, Lisa Rinna, who has continued the conversation about Kim's sobriety this season. But as Eileen sees it, Lisa really isn't trying to stir the pot with Kim, which is evidenced by her not joining Eden Sassoon in discussing the RHOBH alum at Kyle Richards' Great Gatsby party. "What Eden is thinking is her not supporting Eden's point-of-view is Lisa trying not to be pulled back into it," Eileen explained. "[Lisa] goes, 'I just don't want to be involved in this. I'm walking away.' We both kind of felt like, you know what, Eden's going too far with this. Lisa said some things I didn't even know she said until later, and that was unfortunate, because it kind of brought all the Kim stuff up again, but I think she's really trying to move on."
Eileen said that she never feels any pressure to share Lisa's negative feelings of Kim, either. "I don't feel like I have to back her. I do understand a lot of her point-of-view where Kim is involved because I've been there, I've seen it. I do understand how she got triggered at the game night at Kyle's house when Kim kind of inserted herself into our conversation," Eileen said. "But Lisa makes her own choices. I don't agree with everything she does. I can sometimes understand why she does it, but I'm not Lisa, and Lisa's not me. So if she had a differing opinion of what I did or said, I would completely understand and never expect her to back me up on it."
So will Lisa succeed in squashing the Kim conversation for good? Find out what's on the way for the RHOBH ladies this season, below.
