It Was a "Real Housewife Meets American Housewife" for Lisa Vanderpump's Small Screen Cameo
The Vanderpump Rules boss brought her signature sense of glam to a different series this week only.
Lisa Vanderpump was all over your TV screens this week. She not only ruled the SUR roost on Vanderpump Rules on Tuesday, but also made a cameo on the sitcom, American Housewife.
It was a moment the series dubbed, "We call this one: real housewife meets American Housewife."
The cameo was first reported by Variety back in April. At the time, the outlet said LVP was slated to play herself in the episode that aired this week that focused on the Otto family's trip to California to celebrate Katie’s (played by Bravo fan Katy Mixon) birthday. And as you can see in the photo below, Lisa was also joined by her beloved side pooch, Harry.
While Lisa was playing herself on American Housewife, she certainly isn't new to the world of show biz.
Back in the day, she acted on the short-lived children's TV series Kids with Naomi Campbell. Also, in the '70s, she appeared on several other projects including John Halifax, Gentleman, Katy, and Killer's Moon. She even continued acting in the '80s, including a stint as a music video vixen in ABC's "Poison Arrow" visual. Her IMDb credits continue to roll on right through the '90s, during which she made appearances on shows like Baywatch Nights and Silk Stalkings.
