Lisa Vanderpump Calls Daughter Pandora the "Unsung Hero" of Her Restaurant Empire
The Vanderpump Rules boss' best employee is the one she created.
Lisa Vanderpump's most valued employee isn't a SURver; no, her bar and restaurant empire wouldn't be what it is today without her daughter, Pandora Vanderpump Sabo.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills restaurateur recently praised her daughter as "an unsung hero" during an event at the family's newest hotspot, the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, last week. "I could never find somebody to employ, so I actually made her. It is my daughter. She has been in all hours every day working her butt off," Lisa gushed, according to DailyMail.com.
So of course, Lisa had to show her appreciation for her daughter by throwing her an epic birthday celebration at the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden over the weekend. Nothing says love like a four-tier Vanderpump Rosé cake!
Pandora has been Lisa's right-hand woman in many of her business ventures over the past several years, including the opening of PUMP (which you can see in the above throwback clip from Vanderpump Rules) and Tom Tom, as well as Vanderpump Wine & Spirits, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, and their blog, Very Vanderpump. This mother-daughter duo will also be putting their culinary skills to the test when they partner up to compete on the upcoming MasterChef Celebrity Family Showdown against Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley.
Pandora's professional restaurant experience was called into question earlier this season of Vanderpump Rules as she and Tom Sandoval exchanged words over her involvement in Tom Tom's launch. Lisa was quick to come to her daughter's defense during an interview with The Daily Dish in January. "Pandora's a very driven young lady and she was valedictorian at school and she's virtually a sommelier herself," Lisa said. "The thing is with Pandora is that she's not an instigator, but she will always stand up for what's right and defending herself. So if you kind of poke the bear, so to speak, she's going to come out with all guns blazing. And she's absolutely right; she's probably got more, really, experience than a lot of people that work for me."
