Dorit Kemsley Sets the Record Straight About the Dog

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 has been abuzz with chatter about a dog Dorit Kemsley adopted from Vanderpump Dog Center. And if you've seen what's coming up in an all-new episode Tuesday at 9/8c, you know this drama shows no signs of slowing down.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Dorit clarified what happened when her family adopted a dog named Lucy Lucy Apple Juice from Lisa Vanderpump's dog rescue center when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 26 (clip above). "Well, to set the record straight, Lucy went from our loving home to another loving home. And then she, unbeknownst to me, ended up in a local shelter, a non-kill shelter," she said. "And that woman was informed that Lucy originated from Vanderpump Dogs, scanned the microchip, and contacted Vanderpump Dogs immediately."

When Andy Cohen asked if Dorit ever let Lisa know about this, she said, "I told Lisa immediately. So Lisa always knew that Lucy went to a new home, always."

Dorit's last comment appeared to really shock her fellow WWHL guest and Real Housewives fan Isaac Mizrahi. "That's a big revelation," he said. "That changes my entire opinion."

At the beginning of this season of RHOBH, Dorit and Lisa seemed to clear the air over this topic. But when the subject came up during the girls' trip to the Bahamas, there still appeared to be hurt feelings on both sides.

Lisa teased that this dog drama is and isn't at the root of her rumored tension with her fellow Beverly Housewives during an interview with ET prior to the start of Season 9. "You're gonna have to watch. Unfortunately, I think that's all this is about," she said. "But, you know, it's always good television. Obviously, I'm not gonna feel like that because when you're the recipient of being, you know, being kind of bashed. But no, you've got to watch."

The RHOBH drama continues Tuesday at 9/8c. Check out a preview, below.
