Lisa Vanderpump Comments on a Car Crashing into PUMP: "Thank God No One Was Hurt"
The Vanderpump Rules boss and Ken Todd received support from Andy Cohen and Jax Taylor.
On Sunday (January 5) a car crashed into the patio area and the front part of the building, smashing a window, at Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood hotspot, PUMP. According to TMZ, law enforcement officials say the driver lost control on a nearby street when his Ferrari reportedly swerved into the restaurant, noting drugs or alcohol didn't appear to be factors that contributed to the incident. The driver later drove off in the same car.
Ken Todd spoke to TMZ shortly after the accident occurred. "He said somebody cut him off," Ken told the website outside the restaurant. "Accidents happen. Take everything rough or smooth. He couldn't help it. It was accident. Nobody was killed. Nobody was hurt."
One customer reportedly got some scratches and was later transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, per TMZ and Ken. Ken also confirmed that he planned to keep the bulk of the restaurant opened and close off the patio area where the incident occurred. He added, "These things happen."
Vanderpump Rules boss Lisa commented on the incident on Twitter, sharing some photos from the crash: "No. We are not a Drive-Thru. Thank God no one was hurt."
Andy Cohen also responded to the news, writing on Twitter, "TERRIFYING! Glad everyone is OK."
Fans also shared video and photos from the incident, with Jax Taylor responding, "No skid marks? How slow was he going?"
