Luann de Lesseps Reflects on the End of a Turbulent Summer: "I am Happy"
The #RHONY mom is ready for her next chapter.
The end of summer can be a somber time for many, but not Luann de Lesseps. The Real Housewives of New York City mom is feeling empowered as she heads into fall.
Luann celebrated the end of summer with some fun in the sun, as well as an inspiring message as she looks toward the future. "It matters not how straight the gate, I am the captain of my...?" Luann recently quoted William Ernest Henley's classic poem "Invictus" in the caption to a video of herself looking as glamorous as ever while driving a boat. She also included the hashtags "#i #am #Happy" in the post.
This summer has been full of ups and downs for Luann. It was the first summer she got to enjoy with her husband, Tom D'Agostino. But the wedded bliss soon turned into a turbulent time for Luann as rumors swirled about her relationship. She and Tom eventually announced their decision to divorce on August 3.
But Luann has found the warm rays of the summer sun to be revitalizing during the past few weeks. "Goodbye summer," Luann captioned a recent photo of herself looking fabulous in a bikini. "[Y]ou were a warm friend and here just when I needed you most."
We'll hear more about Luann's trying times this summer when she sits down with Andy Cohen during Watch What Happens Live One-on-One with Luann de Lesseps on Wednesday at 11/10c. Get your first look at the special, below.
