We Have an Update on Luann de Lesseps' Love Life: "I'm Kind of a Cougar"
The RHONY and RHUGT alum explained why she prefers men in a certain age bracket.
Luann de Lesseps says she’s on the hunt for her “true partner" — preferably someone in his late 40s.
During the promotional run of her new cabaret tour, The Real Housewives of New York City alum stopped by the Tamron Hall Show to dish on her love life and hopes for the future. The mother of two reiterated her outlook for 2024, saying it would be a year of “love and manifesting.”
“What I want to manifest is a true partner. What makes a good partner is someone who is age-appropriate, who's got a career,” she said in the January 31 episode, before Tamron pressed for more details.

Luann de Lesseps explains why she prefers younger men
“OK, wait, you’re going too fast,” the host interjected. “There might be men out here taking notes and they wanna apply for the job. OK, so what is age-appropriate?”
Luann explained she was most interested in men who were about 10 years her junior, which worked out perfectly as she had no trouble attracting them.
“Let me tell you something: So, right now, all the 40-year-olds, the 30, 40-year-olds, are up into my stuff, if I can say that,” she said with a laugh. “The 50-year-olds are like, ‘Oh damn, I’m 50, I need a 20-year-old.’ The 60-year-olds are a little challenged, you know what I mean? Down in that department. And the 70-year-olds just want to have a good time all day long… 40s, for me, is my sweet spot.”
Luann continued: “I’m kind of a cougar. And you know, people don’t know this about me but I grew up with six brothers and sisters... four older brothers, so I’m very comfortable with men. I love men. I love flirting.”
Luann de Lesseps' Previous Marriages
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip mom was introduced to the Bravo-verse in 2008 when she was married to her first husband, Count Alexandre de Lesseps. The former couple tied the knot in 1993 and welcomed two children together: a daughter named Victoria and a son named Noel. Luann divorced the count in 2009 and went on to have several on-screen flings and romantic partners, including Jacques Azoulay and Harry Dubin.
She eventually married Tom D’Agostino Jr. on December 31, 2016, just less than a year before they finalized their divorce.
Luann de Lesseps says she's "living [her] best life"
“I’ve had many lives, not always good, you know?” she told Tamron. “I’ve been through a lot of divorce and things like that on the show. [I’ve] been cheated on, and women can relate to that. It’s really about how you rise up and the next chapter. You know, we don’t want to wallow in our pity… [fans] love to see me risen from the ashes… I’m living my best life in my 50s.”
