Luann de Lesseps Explains How Involved Tom and Her Kids Are In the Wedding

Luann de Lesseps is really embracing her new moniker of Luann D'Agostino. In fact, The Real Housewives of New York City mom is so proud to be Tom D'Agostino's lady that she updated her Twitter and Instagram handles to her brand-new married name. The move comes just two weeks shy of the couple's wedding in Palm Beach when they said "I do" in front of family and friends on New Year's Eve.

As you might recall, now that Luann and Tom are officially married, it means that Luann loses her Countess title (though, it still pops up on her social media accounts because, if you ask us, Luann will always be the Countess). However, Luann does have a new title she'd like to be called. "I'm gonna be busy being Queen D'Agostino," she told Wendy Williams back in September 2016. "That's what I'm gonna be. The Queen Bee."

All joking aside, Luann has always been more than comfortable with dropping her royal title in favor of Mrs. D'Agostino. "I've been carrying around that title for a long time. I have no problem with losing it," she said last February. "So Tom says to me, 'You're going to marry a commoner, how do you feel about that?' I go, 'Honey I will marry a commoner any day.' There's nothing common about Tom and I found my match, which is so rare. I'm lucky I found it the first time, never mind a second time."

In case you're wondering whether the D'Agostinos have settled into married life, the answer is a resounding yes. The newlyweds celebrated their newlywed status in the Bahamas on their honeymoon and looked quite happy.

Even though they've since landed back in the Big Apple, Luann was quick to point out that "the #honeymoon continues."
