Luann de Lesseps Shares How She Feels About Heather Thomson's RHONY Season 13 Drama Today

When Heather Thomson showed up to hang out with the ladies during their trip to the Hamptons during the May 25 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, the RHONY alum stepped into a tense situation. It stemmed from the fact that she previously allegedly made comments on her podcast about the ladies.

Much of the drama with Heather involved Luann de Lesseps. Over the course of the Breakfast at Tiffany's themed get-together, Heather and Luann argued back-and-forth about her alleged podcast comments, with the other women chiming in as well.

"This is not Breakfast at Tiffany's. This is the lion's den. For some reason, I'm being ambushed," Heather said during an interview that aired during the episode.

Later, at the dinner table, Heather said that she "stand[s] behind" her podcast comments, but she also apologized to Luann.

After much back-and-forth, Luann said in an interview in the episode, "It bothered me that Heather would talk about me like that, and so I'm glad I cleared the air with her. There's no elephant in the room. I don't like elephants in the room."

So, how does the Countess feel about it today? Luann addressed the heated Season 13 argument in an interview with Page Six released this week, sharing, “She came back this season and listen: With strong, confident women, there’s always some conflict, which is kind of par for the course with our show."

Speaking of RHONY alums, Luann shed some light on who she stays in touch with these days with Page Six. "People have been asking me if we still stay in touch, and we do," Luann shared about Dorinda Medley. “My friendships are near and dear to me and so it takes a lot to break that. Jill [Zarin] and I are still friends and Tinsley [Mortimer] and I are still friends."

In fact, Luann has been spotted out and about (and on Instagram) with those ladies in the last few months.
