See Luann's Epic Throwback Photo From Her Nursing Days: "One of My Proudest Achievements"
Before she was on The Real Housewives of New York City, Luann de Lesseps had a very different career.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum Luann de Lesseps is a woman of many talents — from being a mother of two to a cabaret performer to her days as a nurse, which is something that she has been passionately outspoken about.
Luann recently reminded her followers about her past career by sharing a throwback photo that stopped us in our tracks. While some longtime followers might be quite familiar with this photo, as she likes to repost it now and again, it's always so much fun to revisit this time in Luann's life before RHONY.

The old photo of Luann features her smiling for the camera against a professional background with much darker hair and bangs and wearing a nurse's hat. "Once a nurse, always a nurse!" Luann wrote in the caption of the post, adding the hashtags "National Nurses Week" and "respect."
"One of my proudest achievements," she added.
What other jobs has Luann de Lesseps had?
Luann wore many hats over the years, including her career in nursing as well as her time as a model in the early 1990's. She later married her ex-husband, Count Alexandre de Lesseps, in 1993. But, her time as a nurse remains an important one for the RHONY alum as Luann elaborated on her past as a geriatric nurse in a 2017 interview with Woman's Day.
"I grew up in a middle-class family as one of seven children," she said. "I happened to marry a French aristocrat but I had worked since I was 16 years old, babysitting and washing dishes in a rest home. I became a nurse because I fell in love with the elderly. Then I became a model, moved to Italy, and worked for Italian television. I have a whole past."

While nursing might be a thing of her past, cabaret is very much in Luann's present. In March, Luann opened up her show, Marry F Kill, which is currently on tour through July, and is going international. "I'm going to London for the first time in June to perform and we're selling out everywhere because London has been asking me to come forever," she said.
The show, which Luann has described as "pop culture meets cabaret meets comedy meets a fashion show" is filled with her making many outfit changes and performing songs, some of which are original.
"I pick the songs, I write a story that gets into the song, because that's what cabaret is all about," Luann said. "It's a personal show, which I talk about my experiences like on dating apps and all that stuff."
