Luis D. Ortiz Has a Touching Tribute for Assistant Ronita Kalra on Her "Magical" Wedding Day
"Your happiness on this, your magical day is my blessing," the #MDLNY star said.
Many people love to cry at weddings, and Luis D. Ortiz definitely got emotional when sharing the happy news of his assistant Ronita Kalra tying the knot this weekend with his Instagram followers. Though the Million Dollar Listing New York agent wasn't able to attend Ronita's traditional Indian wedding ceremony on Friday at the Hawks Cay Resort in the Florida Keys, he couldn't help but gush over what he heard about the nuptials from her parents.
Luis couldn't contain his joy for Ronita's big day on Instagram. "Ronita! Words can't describe how happy I feel for witnessing your graceful smile on the day of your wedding," Luis wrote in a lengthy post featuring a photo of Ronita from the wedding. "Few times in your lifetime you meet someone so special that their happiness becomes your blessing! Well, your happiness on this, your, magical day is my blessing."
Not only has Luis enjoyed working with Ronita, but he also values her friendship. "Your unconditional love for life, what you do and the man you married today is rare and extraordinary. It teaches me that excuses are only a bad habit we use for our inability of being certain for what we truly believe in," Luis said. "You say that you have learned so much from me but it is me who has learned so much from you."
Luis seems very happy to welcome Ronita's husband, Benny, to the family as well. "Today, Benny, your husband - who [I] learned to care, love and respect because of your unapologetic way of standing by him unconditionally, is the luckiest man in the world. I want you to know, that I wish you both the very best in this life that you have both decided to [build] together and that I will be of support for anything that you need. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this very treasured moment of yours. I will forever be grateful," he said. "Enjoy today and the rest of your already begun journey with your husband, Benny."
After seeing how adorable Luis and Ronita have been on MDLNY together, some fans may have been hoping these two would one day get together. "Unfortunately, I love Luis but not like that," Ronita said during a Facebook Live chat with Luis in July. "We're not getting married, for the frickin' hundredth time."
Luis has continued to look for love in his post-real estate pursuits. He got to feel the love when his MDLNY colleague Ryan Serhant tied the knot with his longtime love Emilia Bechrakis Serhant last summer. Relive the romantic moment, below.
