Austen Kroll Shares His Reaction to Madison LeCroy’s Engagement
The Winter House cast member opens up about his ex's engagement to Brett.
It's been a couple weeks since Madison LeCroy confirmed her engagement to Brett, and now we're hearing from her ex, Austen Kroll, about how he feels to see his former flame get ready to marry someone else. The Winter House cast member shared his reaction to Madison's engagement news while appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday (October 27).
"So the overwhelming thing that I've been thinking about is that this goes further than just like whatever nonsense that I had going on with her for ages," Austen said, referring to their past relationship drama, which fans witnessed on Southern Charm before they eventually broke up. "She has a son, so this is something that she's about to start a new family, and I wish the best for her and her new family."
As for whether Austen has met her fiancé or plans to, he told Andy Cohen, "No, no [I haven't]. I don't intend to."
When Austen's BFF Craig Conover stopped by the Clubhouse earlier this week, he shared insight into how he and Austen learned about Madison's engagement.
"We did watch at the same time when we watched her announce that she was engaged," Craig said in the October 26 episode of WWHL. "I was right next to [Austen]. He was like, 'You're such a jerk, Craig.' And I was like, 'I just wanted you to know.'"
As Austen noted in the season premiere for Winter House, which aired earlier this month, the vacation the cast takes to Stowe, Vermont "could not have come at a more perfect time for me" following his split from Madison. At the time of filming, he shared in the episode that he was single — and fans have since been following his romantic adventures as the season rolls along. So, stay tuned to see what happens next!
