Contessa Metcalfe Wants To "Stand Her Ground" Against Heavenly Kimes

Dr. Contessa Metcalfe is opening up about her issues with Dr. Heavenly Kimes. As fans saw in the Season 9 premiere, the Married to Medicine cast member explained that she was at odds with Dr. Heavenly, referencing comments Dr. Heavenly had made about her, which led to their falling-out. “I mean, where do the insults end and where does the friendship begin?” Dr. Contessa said in the July 10 episode. And in a first look at the upcoming July 17 episode, Dr. Contessa spills even more details on why it had been a while since she last spoke with Dr. Heavenly.

“I don’t even know if you know this, but me and Heavenly kind of took a little break,” Dr. Contessa says as she catches up with Toya Bush-Harris in the above sneak peek. She goes on to reveal that she has avoided having a conversation with Dr. Heavenly about their issues, adding, “I haven’t talked to Heavenly in, like, months.”

Dr. Contessa then reveals that Dr. Heavenly had “really hurt [her] feelings” and continues to explain the reasons why, mentioning in an interview in the upcoming episode that “some things are just off-limits” in terms of Dr. Heavenly’s comments.
