Kyle Richards Admits Seeing Mauricio Umansky and Emma's Steamy Dance Was "Hard"

Kyle Richards opened up about her and Mauricio Umansky's marital issues like never before on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion, and among the many revelations was one concerning Mauricio's Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater.
Kyle Richards Reacts to Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater's "Suggestive" Dance on DWTS
The RHOBH OG shared her thoughts on a particular performance in which Mauricio and Emma's dance was deemed "very suggestive" by reunion host Andy Cohen. He also read a viewer-submitted comment which theorized that both "the intimacy of the dance," and the fact that Mauricio dedicated it to Kyle, were "100 percent an 'f you'" to her "done specifically by Mauricio to get under her skin."
Kyle's take on Mauricio and Emma's dance? "It was very hard for me to watch," she said.

On the subject of Mauricio and Emma at the reunion, Andy asked Kyle for her thoughts on the photos of the dancing partners holding hands that hit the internet in October 2023. The RHOBH cast member admitted it did "not feel good" to see the snapshots, even though she and Mauricio were "separated" and "allowed to do" what they want.
Kyle shared a similar sentiment at the time on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "I was taken aback," she said of photos featuring Mauricio and Emma holding hands. "That was very hard to see. Yes, that hurt my feelings... I love him very much and we are amicable, but that really did hurt me."

At another point on the RHOBH reunion, Andy said he never would've predicted that Mauricio would join the aforementioned dancing series. Kyle's sister, Kathy Hilton, agreed, noting, "That's when I thought, 'There is no way in hell that Kyle would've okay-ed that.'"
Kyle had a different point of view to offer. "The funny thing is that if our marriage was in the place it used to be, I would never had said yes," she revealed. "But I was like, 'Okay.'"
Kathy didn't understand why Kyle would be opposed to the idea, because "it's not like [she] would be jealous or anything."
"Yes," Kyle replied, "I would have."

Emma is a dancer from Tamworth, Staffordshire, England who initially joined Dancing with the Stars as a troupe member on Season 14, although she was announced as a professional dancer for Season 17 in 2013. Mauricio and Emma were paired up on DWTS Season 32 and ultimately placed 9th.
