Meghan King Explains Why "Things Are Good" with Her Ex-Husband, Jim Edmonds
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King said that Jim's new wife is a "positive influence" on their three kids.
Though Meghan King and ex-husband Jim Edmonds went through their fair share of ups and downs in their co-parenting relationship following their 2021 divorce, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum confirmed that "things are good" between them today.
During a recent chat with Us Weekly, Meghan confirmed that she's gotten to a better place with her ex-husband as they raise their kids, Aspen, Hart, and Hayes Edmonds — and it's thanks in part to Jim's recent marriage to Kortnie O'Connor Edmonds.

After several rocky years of co-parenting while on different pages, Meghan said that "things are good" between her and her retired MLB player ex-husband. "We’ve come a long way," she explained, noting that things have gotten better now that she's able to FaceTime her kids while they're with their dad, and because her children are getting older.
“I gave my kids Apple IDs, which you can do, by the way. You could still be [their] mom and they can have an Apple ID that’s totally restricted. It’s been smoother sailing, but I think it’s also because they’re older too," Meghan continued. "Life stages change situations.”
Her relationship with Jim isn't perfect yet (the exes still haven't been in the same room together in quite some time), but the RHOC alum is feeling optimistic about the future.
“We still have ways to go, but I’m confident that we’ll get there," she continued to US Weekly.

About a year after his divorce from Meghan was finalized, Jim tied the knot with Kortnie O'Connor Edmonds.
Meghan believes that Jim's new bride has also helped the exes get to a better place in their co-parenting relationship today.
“I mean we’re not going out for happy hour, but I view [Kortnie] as a positive influence in my children’s lives, and so I’m grateful for that," she said.
