Meghan King Edmonds and Husband Jim Edmonds Come Together to Support Their Son at the Hospital
The Real Housewives of Orange County couple was there for son Hart amid Jim's cheating drama.
Meghan King Edmonds and husband Jim Edmonds are putting their recent relationship drama aside for the sake of their family.
The Real Housewives of Orange County couple recently reunited, despite reports that Jim had been unfaithful to Meghan, to support their 1-year-old son Hart as he underwent an MRI last week. Following Jim's admission that he had "engaged in an inappropriate conversation" with a woman via text message, Meghan opened up in a blog post on her website titled "I'm Sad," admitting that the family had also been dealing with concerns that Hart may have a neurological disorder.
"And all of this could not have come at a worse time. Again, something I wasn’t ready to share but here I am sharing it: we are worried our son, Hart, might have a neurological disorder," Meghan wrote in her blog, without going into specifics about her son's health. "It’s been the most trying last couple months of my entire life and we still don’t have answers."
Meghan documented Hart's experience having the MRI performed at the hospital in her Instagram Stories on Saturday, according to ET. The series of stills show both Meghan and Jim cradling Hart at different times.
The photo of Jim holding Hart has the caption, "But mommy and daddy's best part is the results." Though Meghan did not go into detail about her son's results, that could be an indication that the prognosis was positive.
Meghan also thanked fans for all of the love and support they have shown her and her family during this difficult time. "Thank you to everyone who sent this perfect child all your prayers," she shared in her Instagram Story. "We love each of you."
Meghan, who also shares Hart's twin brother Hayes, 1, and big sister Aspen, 2, with Jim, was spotted without her wedding ring last week. "She's not wearing her ring right now as she navigates the rough waters of repairing her marriage," a source told E! News of the speculation surrounding the state of her marriage to Jim. "She's fully married to Jimmy and loves him deeply despite not wearing her ring right now."
Jim told TMZ Sports earlier this month that he and Meghan are "doing good" amid his cheating scandal, which he also apologized for. "We're just gonna have to work through it," he said.
Meghan expressed in her blog post that she doesn't know if she believes her husband's account of the incident and that she doesn't trust him anymore following the cheating allegations. However, she is staying positive about the future of their relationship. "I am a victim, but I am not defined by this. I need space to heal," she wrote. "Ultimately, I have hope our marriage can recover."
