Meghan King Edmonds has fans wondering about the future of her marriage to Jim Edmonds in the wake of a report that alleged he had been unfaithful to his wife.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum was spotted without her wedding ring on in a photo she shared in her Instagram Story earlier this week. The pic shows Meghan smiling while taking a selfie as her 2-year-old daughter, Aspen, also grins in the background. Meghan captioned the photo, "Thank you @mulberryandking for forcing me to take care of myself and dress in the cutest clothes ever."
A source told E! News of the speculation surrounding Meghan and Jim's relationship, "She's not wearing her ring right now as she navigates the rough waters of repairing her marriage. She's fully married to Jimmy and loves him deeply despite not wearing her ring right now."
The source added, "Meghan is overwhelmed with all the support she has received from friends and fans."
Some of that support has come from The Real Housewives family, including Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Lizzie Rovsek, Gretchen Rossi, Lydia McLaughlin, and Brandi Glanville, all of whom have sent Meghan love during this difficult time.
Following a report that alleged that Jim had cheated on his wife in March 2018, the former MLB player said that he had "engaged in an inappropriate conversation" with a woman via text message in a statement to Us Weekly on June 13. However, Jim clarified, “At no time was there any type of relationship or physical contact. Absolutely none."
Meghan spoke out about the allegations against Jim in a blog post titled "I'm Sad" on her website published on June 14. "Do I believe him? I don’t know. Because I don’t trust him anymore," she wrote. "Physical or not, he still had an affair and he admits this to me."
However, Meghan said she remains optimistic that she and Jim can overcome this trying time in their relationship. "I am a victim, but I am not defined by this. I need space to heal," she shared in the post. "Ultimately, I have hope our marriage can recover."
Jim provided an update on his marriage in an interview with TMZ Sports last week, sharing that he and Meghan are "doing good." "We're just gonna have to work through it," he said.
